Hyperhidrosis Treatment
Hyperhidrosis Treatment (Botulinum Toxin for Excessive Sweating)
Sweating is a normal part of regulating body temperature — but when it becomes excessive, it can impact daily life, cause embarrassment, and limit your choice of clothing or activities.
Hyperhidrosis
At Face Up Skin Studio, we use precise botulinum toxin injections to treat hyperhidrosis, offering long-lasting relief from excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms, hands, feet, and face. This safe, effective solution restores comfort and confidence — with minimal downtime.
Botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox®) temporarily blocks the nerve signals that activate overactive sweat glands. This dramatically reduces perspiration in treated areas and helps you regain control and confidence.
This non-invasive procedure is performed by Karolina, our medically trained aesthetic practitioner, in our Walthamstow clinic. The results are powerful, lasting, and life-enhancing for many of our clients.

Excessive Sweating in Daily Life
If you’re constantly battling sweat patches, changing clothes, or avoiding handshakes, hyperhidrosis treatment can help you reclaim everyday comfort.
Underarm or Palmar Hyperhidrosis
We treat common areas like underarms, palms, soles, and even the forehead. Botulinum toxin offers targeted relief with minimal disruption.
Stress or Emotionally Triggered Sweating
Even when sweat is situational — driven by nerves, public speaking, or anxiety — botulinum toxin can reduce your body’s overactive sweat response.
Most clients begin noticing reduced sweating within 2–4 days, with maximum results visible by 1–2 weeks post-treatment. A single session can provide dryness and relief for up to 6–12 months, depending on the treatment area and your body’s metabolism.
Repeat treatments help maintain dryness long-term. Over time, some clients find they need less frequent sessions as sweat gland activity becomes regulated.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise for 24 Hours
Refrain from high-intensity workouts or activities that may increase body temperature and blood flow to the treated area, as this could impact the effectiveness of the injections.
No Rubbing or Massaging Treated Areas
For at least 24 hours, avoid pressing, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated zones. This helps prevent the botulinum toxin from migrating to unintended areas.
Stay Upright for 4–6 Hours Post-Treatment
Avoid lying flat or bending over excessively immediately after your session to allow the toxin to settle precisely where injected.
No Saunas, Hot Baths, or Steam Rooms for 48 Hours
Excessive heat or steam exposure can increase swelling and reduce the efficacy of the treatment — let the skin calm and heal fully.
